Here are some nice pictures. Some students also need to draw pencil diagrams of their cheek and onion cells.

Scientists have said there is no evidence to suggest a link between the use of wi-fi and damage to health. BBC programme Panorama found that radiation levels from wi-fi in one school was up to three times the level of mobile phone mast radiation.

The readings were 600 times below the government’s safety limits but there is ongoing debate about wi-fi use.

Your booklet on cells needs to completed by thursday. You MUST include:

  • labelled pencil drawings of an onion and cheek cell from your microscope work
  • information about the labelled parts (cell wall, nucleus etc – you should have done this in the first booklet you were given)

You also might like to include information about specialist cells (nerve, blood, root hair etc)

You might want to include information about how to use microscopes and famous scientists who used them such as Pasteur, van Leeuwenhoek, Koch and Hooke.
