We looked at the electron structure of the first 18 elements in the periodic table. This will help us to understand ionic and covalent bonding later.

  • The first shell can hold up to 2 electrons.
  • The second shell can hold up to 8 electrons.
  • The third shell can hold up to 8 electrons.

kilograms, seconds, candela, metres, amperes,kelvin and moles

you also need to know some derived units e.g. for volume, speed and strength

Today we looked at lung structure, how we breathe and some of the diseases caused by smoking.
