Life, the universe, football!
Today we made balloon kebabs. How does this work?
We also got a whole egg in a conical flask – how did we do this?
We then saw that the air can keep a mixture of egg and water in the flask when we turned the flask upside down.
We also talked about why it hurts more when a ballerina stands on your foot than when your foot is run over by a tank.
This lesson was all about pressure.

In our second lesson we looked at fossil fuels. These are non-renewable energy sources and are causing pollution. The Carbon dioxide they emit is causing global warming and climate change, which is causing a number of problems now and will be a bigger problem in the future.
We will look at the alternatives to burning fossil fuels tomorrow.
