For those of you revising for the exam, start off with cells and fermentation by yeast.

you need to know the structure of cells and the functions of the parts ( vacole, cell membrane etc), describe the similarities and differences between animal and plant cells, explain why viruses are not living, and know a bit about chromosomes and DNA.

For yeast, you need to know the equation for fermentation, be be able to describe the action of enzymes, and the conditions needed for fermentation. You must also be aware of how bread, cheese, beer and the antibiotic drug penicillin are made.
