Did you know you can access this site on a mobile phone? Most of the content is available (though you’ll need 3G For video and flash files) -you have the option of the usual site, mobile friendly version or the full mobile version. If you are on contract this shouldn’t cost much and some PAYG operators only charge 30p a day. BTW -I have just blogged this post from my old GPRS Phone.

I hope you all had a nice christmas. For those of you taking your GCSE exam in a fortnight now is the time to do your revision. Make good use of your revision book, bitesize, sam learning and the gateway site. See you back at school in the new year and for extra revision on saturday the 10th.

3        A company advertised that it could predict the sex of a couple’s next child. It asked for

various information and charged £10 for its prediction. It was so confident it would be right it

refunded the money if it was wrong. For every case it predicted a boy.

Explain how the scheme made a lot of money. (This is now illegal!)
