This experiment worked very well today
Students were able to heat the mineral oil (paraffin) with the porcelein chips as a catalyst. Very quickly ethene is produced and collected under water. this was tested with orangy yellow bromine water which turned colourless.

This website is very good for information about all aspects of space, which we are studying in P2 section f.
